With 5 different layer levels you can create your own designs in multiple thickness variations. Just hold down the side button, place your knife in, with the blade out, and release the button to allow the spring to hold the knife in place for both levelers.

Easily cut the cake to your preferences.  When you are finished, press the side buttons to take apart, and clean with warm soapy water.
